Charly Musonda Chelsea: Transfer war for wonderkid includes Arsenal, Man United, Man City

Chelsea‘s 19-year-old midfielder Charly Musonda has a strong football pedigree and a contract that runs through 2019, but he remains a long-shot to make it to the first team under Jose Mourinho. As a result, the Blues’ rivals are looking to pounce on the Belgian youngster.

According to the Metro, Musonda has drawn interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City. Musonda is reportedly not convinced that he will get a chance with Chelsea on the first team despite proving himself as a more-than-capable scoring threat for Belgian on the youth levels.

Musonda’s father, Charly Musonda Sr., reportedly said that the young midfielder may very well need to leave Stamford Bridge in order to get more playing time now.

The Metro noted that Arsenal and Man United are likely to have the most interest considering their devotion with playing and developing young players early.

During the summer, Musonda turned down the chance to join Vitesse Arnhem on loan.
