Newcastle United and Aston Villa are keen on the Burnley winger Luca Koleosho.

The 20-year-old has impressed in the Championship with the Clarets and it will be interesting to see if the Magpies decide to make a move for him in the near future. Newcastle have reportedly watched the player in action multiple times this year as per HITC.

Koleosho is highly rated in England and he has a bright future ahead of himself. He could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition for the Magpies. Newcastle need more depth in the attacking unit and the 20-year-old will add pace, flair, goals and unpredictability to the side. Newcastle have had to rely on Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak for goals and creativity. The two players could certainly use more support in the attack.

The 20-year-old winger has the potential to develop into an important first-team player for Newcastle with the right guidance. The opportunity to play for the Premier League club will be quite exciting for the young winger as well. It would be a major step up in his career and he would get to test himself in the Premier League regularly.

Newcastle have the financial muscle to get the deal done and it remains to be seen whether they come forward with an official offer in the player in the coming weeks.

The West Midlands club are currently competing in the UEFA Champions League and they need a deeper squad to do well across multiple competitions. They could certainly use more depth in the wide areas and the 20-year-old seems like the ideal investment for them in the long term. Koleosho could be attracted to the idea of joining a club in the Champions League and it remains to be seen where he ends up.
