Spurs suffered defeat away to Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
The Lilywhites, who have won just one game so far this season, dropped more points after losing 2-1 to Eddie Howe’s Magpies at St. James’ Park on the weekend.
Goals from Harvey Barnes and Alexander Isak were enough to down Spurs despite them equalising through a Dan Burn own-goal after 56 minutes.
And the Londoners’ lacklustre performance, which was proven by Son Heung-min’s failure to register a single shot on target, did not please Ange Postecoglou.
Speaking after the game, the no-nonsense Aussie, as quoted by Football London, said: “Fair play to [Nick] Pope, I thought he had an outstanding game. But I thought we could have tested him a few more times with just some better decision-making.”
It wasn’t all doom and gloom for the away side though.
Introduced at half-time for Pape Matar Sarr, Wales’ Brennan Johnson came on and enjoyed a decent 45 minutes.

Although the 23-year-old failed to have a direct impact on the game, he was Spurs’ liveliest and most threatening player, and that didn’t go unnoticed by Sky Sports pundit Andy Hinchcliffe, who said the forward was his side’s best player.
“The pace of Johnson gets him away,” Hinchcliffe said live on air.
“It’s just his teammates can’t keep up with him, can’t get into the six yard box to get on the end of the cross.
“It’s fair to say Brennan Johnson’s been Tottenham’s best player and he’s only played half the match.”
Johnson joined Spurs from Nottingham Forest one-year ago and has managed 15 goal contributions in that time.
And after starting both of Spurs’ opening two Premier League games before being dropped for yesterday’s game, the Wales international will be expecting to be restored to his manager’s lineup for the North London Derby against bitter-rivals Arsenal after the upcoming international break.
