World class striker available for transfer backed to make a move to Liverpool

Liverpool have finally started their transfer business this summer by securing two signings.

The Reds have managed to sign goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili and winger Federico Chiesa.

Arne Slot will be happy to sign two talented players to start his tenure at Anfield following the departure of Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have made a fine start to the new season with two 2-0 wins against Ipswich Town and Brentford.

The focus will now be on bringing more players to the club on transfer deadline day and address the issues facing the squad.

A former midfielder has urged Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to join Liverpool this summer.

Don Hutchinson has posted on his X account that it would be a shame if someone as talented as Osimhen moves to the Saudi Pro League at the peak of his career.

The striker is available for a transfer away from Napoli with Chelsea and Saudi clubs interested in signing the player.

“What a Shame,” wrote Hutchison to Osimhen’s links to the Saudi Pro League.

Victor Osimhen is backed to make a move to Liverpool.

“He might be making that move now (just circumstance I suppose) As his true value is well over 100 million and no1 has it these days. I would love him at Newcastle or Liverpool.

“Any Premier League team would benefit having him. I would stay in Italy if I was him. Saudi can always wait.”

Liverpool fans would love Osimhen at the club after failing to see the best of Darwin Nunez since he signed for them.

The Nigerian striker is a proven goal scorer and he guided Napoli to a Serie A title win two seasons ago.

Liverpool cannot afford to sign the expensive Victor Osimhen

Osimhen can score all kinds of goals and he would be a valuable addition to any team in the world but his price tag is difficult to match for most clubs.

He is going to cost a premium and it is highly unlikely that Liverpool will be able to afford a player as expensive as him.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Osimhen and they could win the race to sign him before the transfer deadline, which would make Hutchinson happy that the striker has still decided to play at the top level.

  1. I’m amazed at how papers say we can’t afford a €110M, do your homework and have a look at how Chelsea, real m & barca especially can afford players. DEBT DEBT DEBT! Now have a look at overall spend compared to trophies in the last 10years. Our owners blow the other owners apart from OIL clubs. So the fact is whether we want to pay -€110 M for an average player. Real are in DEBT OBER €1.500..000.000 Barca 😂😂😂 no need. Man U can afford players but not LFC. Do some real journalism ffs. Our club is self sustaining just like Arsenal YNWA
