Liverpool’s Stefan Bajcetic is reportedly wanted by three Spanish clubs.
The young midfielder is set to spend this season out on loan as he looks to get regular playing minutes, and with the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch in front of him at Anfield, is unlikely to do that under Arne Slot this term.
The Dutch manager does rate the 19-year-old highly and views him as a future leading number six though, but first, he must bide his time and master his trade.
Three La Liga clubs want Stefan Bajcetic
And that’s where a possible move back to Spain comes in. According to a recent report from Fichajes, the former Celta Vigo youth star is wanted by Valencia, Las Palmas, and Real Sociedad.
Although Valencia seem to be best placed to secure the talented teenager, the structure of the proposed deal depends greatly on the player’s wages. Failure to reach an agreement with Liverpool on which club pays what could see Real Sociedad steal the deal.
It’s worth noting that Imanol Alguacil’s side are well stocked in the midfield department though.
With Martin Zubimendi and Benat Turrientes as the side’s preferred options, opportunities for Bajcetic could be limited — still, bringing the 19-year-old to the Reale Arena has not been ruled out.
