Shocking development as current Chelsea ace is advised to sue the club

Chelsea Football Club are evidently the gift that keeps on giving.

The Blues, for one way or another, have been the headline makers in most of the last few transfer windows, as well as results not being at a level that a club such as Chelsea would expect.

Many of the problems that have occurred over the past couple of seasons seem to be of the club’s own making and it would do the West Londoners a huge service if the owners took a look in the mirror.

Trevoh Chalobah challenged to sue Chelsea

One of the issues that appears to be prevalent even now is the way in which some first-team players are treated.

For example, Trevoh Chalobah is understood to want to stay at Stamford Bridge but would appear to be being forced out of the club in the same way club captain, Conor Gallagher, was.

Trevoh Chalobah in action for Chelsea

Financial Fair Play, and the fact that Chalobah’s status as a former academy player would mean Chelsea could put his sale down as pure profit on the balance sheet, is believed to be what’s behind the club’s stance, but one former Premier League CEO has gone as far as to suggest that the player might want to take legal action.

“It’s time for a player to test Chelsea,” Keith Wyness, ex-Everton CEO, said on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast.

“I know a few employment lawyers who would be keen to take that (Chalobah’s) case.

“Trevoh Chalobah is a very talented player, I tried to take him to Villa – and Chelsea could have done well with him in the teamBut he’s on the sidelines.

“There are so many others like him in the same position.

“If they are going to go down the route of constructive dismissal, that may be the wrong way to do it – but I’ll speak to a major employment lawyer and hear his view on the cases.”

  1. if wyness really said this his knowledge is seriously flawed !! no contract guarantees to play etc this isnt usa !!!

  2. Chelsea fans are tired of hearing these informations everyday, the owners of Chelsea are now sending the team to the dark direction, I don’t think if the team will win any trophy in the recent years, owners are after money not trophy, I don’t see the logic of selling all experienced player especially the homegrown players

    1. All those so-called home grown players were when Chelsea was wobbling and tumbling last season; while they went home with thousands of pounds every weekend. Except in very extreme cases; no organization would force out an employee that is key to the organization’s success. All and the hew and cry come from those who are envious of the Club rebuild, nothing else. These bitter losers would love to see the Club struggle season and season out. But God will see the Club through; because the new owners are just honest business men determined to make best out of the hidden decay they purchased from the British government. Chelsea always.

  3. I think Maresca and the board the owners are the curse of every wrong doing that is going on at our club Chelsea, at the same time I think the hierarchy knows exactly what to do, so in all the problems going on right now is masterminded by the new owners of the club Chelsea, which I believe that, they are doing all this because they want to sweep out everything that has been established from Roman Abra’s era. Else I see no reason why Mr yes I do sir(Maresca) will be fast in doing what he knows(Maresca) that is wrong for our lovely academy players, we the Chelsea fans are not happy with the new philosophy at the club at all.

  4. wyness talks absolute rubbish , there’s no employment laws being broken bring on his known employment lawyers they be laughed out of court.

    Chelsea paying his wages,
    Chalobah refused moves away ,
As for Gallagher he refused to sign 3 new contract offers from Chelsea , Gallagher refused moves to Spurs & Newcastle
