Manchester United are eyeing a move for a midfielder this summer after sorting out their attack and defense.
The Red Devils have been active this summer in their transfer business, particularly after the arrival of INEOS at the club.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has placed a competent hierarchy in place at Old Trafford and they have made some of the biggest signings of the summer.
Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have all joined Erik ten Hag’s squad.
To sort out their midfield issues, the Red Devils have been linked with a move for midfielder Sander Berge, as reported by the Daily Mail.
However, the player is now edging closer to a move to Fulham after agreeing on a five year deal with an option of another year.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given the move his famous “Here we go” treatment, which means that the transfer is done and Man United have lost out on their transfer target.

Man United are still in the market looking for a new midfielder
The Red Devils will be hoping to get serious in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manue Ugarte now.
They are desperately looking for a new midfielder this summer and Berge was one of the options they were targeting.
With the player now joining Fulham, it leaves them with Ugarte and with just over a week left in the transfer window to shut down, they cannot waste any more time to make the deal happen.
Midfielders Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen are facing an uncertain future at the club which makes signing a midfielder even more important.
