For Erik ten Hag the question that remains after seeing how well Sancho has integrated back into the United first-team set-up is whether he can now afford to be without Sancho’s services.
There’s always the possibility of another issue further down the line with the winger, but whether that would be enough to sanction a sale to a direct rival is a moot point. Particularly if Sancho were to hit the ground running with the Blues and show ten Hag what he’s missing.
