Wolves among teams wanting to sign Barcelona outcast

Wolves are reportedly one of four teams in the mix to sign Ansu Fati.

Rumoured not to be in Hansi Flick’s long-term plans, the 21-year-old faces an uncertain, but according to recent reports, isn’t short on options if he decides to leave the Nou Camp.

Fati spent last season on loan with Brighton but an injury-struck campaign hampered his chances and ultimately meant the Seagulls wouldn’t sign him permanently.

Wolves eyeing Ansu Fati

However, according to a recent report from Fichajes, the Bissau-born starlet still has a chance to return to the Premier League with Gary O’Neil’s Wolves keen.

Ansu Fati is wanted by Wolves.

The talented wide-attacker has three years left on his deal but could be available for a modest fee due to Barcelona’s financial problems and their desire to sell the player.

Sevilla, Marseille and Benfica are the other teams interested in offering Fati a way out of his Barcelona nightmare.

Since he was promoted to Barcelona’s first team in 2020, Fati, who also has 10 caps for Spain on his CV, has scored 29 goals and registered 10 assists in 112 games in all competitions — not a bad record for a player who has never been a nailed on starter.
