Tottenham have been busy in the summer transfer window and they have no intention to stop their business any time soon.

The North Londoners have signed Archie Gray from Leeds United and Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth while also extending Timo Werner’s loan move at the club.

Along with some signings, Spurs have lost a number of players including Tanguy Ndombele, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg while Giovani Lo Celso is heading out of the club as well.

With Spurs needing a new midfielder, they have identified their target and they are ready to make a move for him.

Tottenham are prepared to offer £20.5 million for Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli, according to Juve Live.

As per the report, Locatelli will probably be amenable to the transfer and Spurs are eager to sign him.

The 26-year-old had previously been linked to Arsenal, but Spurs, their rivals in North London, are now trying to get him to move to England.

The midfield player has to move on in order to get regular playing time because he has dropped down the pecking order at the Italian giants.

Locatelli can play in a number of different positions in the midfield and he would provide Postecoglou’s team the winning mentality that they are missing

He would be an ideal addition to the Tottenham team and would act as an upgrade on Yves Bissouma.

Locatelli can be a fine addition to the Tottenham midfield

The midfielder was a part of the Italian national team that won the Euro 2020 by beating England in the final.

The player is known for his ability to progress the ball, control the midfield and break attacks of opposition.

The potential arrival of Locatelli would complete Tottenham’s transfer window and cover all their bases as they get ready to start the new season.

Spurs missed out on a place in the top four of the Premier League last season. Qualifying for the Champions League will be their main target for next season.
