Chelsea are interested in signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid and they have already submitted an offer for him.
According to Portuguese publication O Jogo, the La Liga outfit have received an offer from Chelsea worth around €65 million (£56 million). The Spanish club would receive €35 million upfront with the remaining €30 million to be paid later.
It will be interesting to see if Atletico Madrid are willing to accept the offer and let the 24-year-old Portuguese international leave the club permanently.
Felix was on loan at Barcelona last season and he impressed with his performances. He has previously been on loan at Chelsea as well.
The opportunity to join the Premier League club permanently could be an attractive one for him. He will look to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football. The 24-year-old has the physical and technical attributes to do well in English football and he should be able to settle in quickly and make an instant impact at Stamford Bridge given his prior experience.

Chelsea are in desperate need of a quality attacker and the 24-year-old could prove to be a superb addition. He is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three and he will add pace, flair and technical ability in the final third.
However, Chelsea should look to invest in a quality centre forward as well who can score goals consistently. The Blues will be desperate to secure Champions League qualification in the upcoming campaign and they will look to push for major trophies.
It will be interesting to see if they can plug the gaps in their squad before the summer transfer window closes.
