Chelsea secure €24 million agreement to sign attacking prodigy

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Gremio attacker Gabriel Mec this summer.

According to Rudy Galetti, the Blues have now reached an agreement with Gremio for the 16-year-old attacker.

Chelsea will pay a fee of around €24 million for the Brazilian prodigy and the player will sign a five-year contract with them with the option of extending for a further two years.

The two clubs are currently exchanging documents in order to finalise the transfer.

Chelsea have shown a willingness to invest in talented young players in recent seasons. They are looking to build for the future and Gabriel Mec will only add to the formidable pool of young talent already at the club. Chelsea could nurture him into a first-team player in the near future.
