Aston Villa submit player plus cash offer to sign 15-G/A attacker

Aston Villa are interested in signing the Turkish attacker Semih Kilicsoy this summer.

The 18-year-old centre-forward has had an impressive campaign with Besiktas and he scored 12 goals in all competitions last season and picked up three assists. His performances have attracted the attention of the Premier League club and journalist Ertan Suzgun claims that Aston Villa have now offered a player plus cash deal to sign the striker.

The West Midlands club have offered Alex Moreno in the deal to Besiktas. The Turkish outfit have reportedly turned down the offer and they feel that the cash offer was unacceptable.

It will be interesting to see if Aston Villa come forward with an improved offer to sign the versatile forward. The 18-year-old is capable of operating anywhere across the front three and he would be a quality long-term investment for Aston Villa.

Aston Villa could use Semih Kilicsoy

They have secured Champions League qualification for the next season and they will look to do well in the European competition. Aston Villa need more quality and depth at their disposal and the 18-year-old Turkish attacker would be the ideal acquisition for them. He will add goals and creativity to the side and he could form a quality partnership with Ollie Watkins.

Aston Villa were overly dependent on the England international for goals and creativity last season and Watkins needs more support in the attack. Signing the 18-year-old could prove to be a wise decision. If Aston Villa can sign him for a reasonable price this summer, the transfer could look like a major bargain in the long term.

Kilicsoy is highly rated across Europe and a number of top clubs are keeping tabs on him. He has the attributes to develop into a world class player with the right guidance and Unai Emery could play a key role in his development.
