Mbeumo has a contract with Brentford until 2026 and the Premier League club could demand a substantial amount of money for him. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool and Newcastle are ready to pay up.

It is no secret that Liverpool need to bring in attacking reinforcements and signing a versatile attacker like Mbeumo could prove to be a wise decision. He can slot in anywhere across the front three and he will add goals and creativity to the side.

The 24-year-old is excellent when it comes to taking on defenders and beating them with his pace and trickery. He has nine goals and six assists in all competitions this season and his numbers are likely to improve when he is playing in a better team alongside better players.

Bryan Mbeumo would improve Liverpool and Newcastle

Liverpool are currently lacking in depth in the wide areas and the 24-year-old would be the ideal fit for them. He is well settled in the Premier League and he could make an instant impact as well.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United need more quality in the wide areas. The Magpies will have to add more cutting edge to their attack if they want to finish higher up the table and compete for trophies. Signing a quality winger like Mbauemo will help them add more unpredictability to their attacking unit.

The winger confirmed to L’Equipe that he wants to join a big club and compete at the highest level. The opportunity to move to Liverpool or Newcastle could be an attractive one for him.
