Roy Keane has criticised Bruno Fernandes during a discussion over the Manchester United midfielder’s leadership.

Often coming under fire for his over-the-top displays of frustration, Fernandes, 29, has become the subject of much debate among fans and pundits.

And the latest to weigh in on the Portugal international’s antics has been Jill Scott, Ian Wright and Roy Keane.

Speaking on a recent episode of ‘The Overlap‘ the trio discussed whether or not Fernandes is the Red Devils’ most important impactful player, or if his in-game behaviour acts more as a hinderance.

Wright was quick to defend the 29-year-old, labelling him a ‘winner’ which prompted a fiery response from Keane, who said: “He’s won nothing in his career. He’s 29 years of age and he’s won nothing.

“[…] I think he’s a brilliant player; no doubt about that – a talented boy. But does he help people out? Does he make the other players around him better? – The answer is 100 per cent no.”

  1. Fernandes can win a game on his own but sometimes he is not good for the team. He wants to take all free kicks, corners, and penalties.
He shoots when there is a player in a better position to score, which is what annoyed Hojlund to go and talk to the manager. He plays for himself a lot of the time and not the team.
