Manchester City have reportedly added Douglas Luiz to their list of transfer targets as they look to bolster their roster in the summer window.

With his side on the cusp of potential Premier League history, if they win four titles in a row, Pep Guardiola is gearing up for a spectacular finish to this season.

For the first time in a long time, the title race will consist of three teams with Liverpool and Arsenal both tied on points at the top of the table.

A big reason for Mikel Arteta’s side challenging for the title once again has been the signing of Declan Rice during the summer with Manchester City failing to sign the English midfielder.

It looks like both clubs could do battle in the transfer market once again with reports from AS claiming that Aston Villa midfielder, Luiz, is on Guardiola’s transfer shortlist.

It is no secret that Arteta is a big admirer of the Brazilian with speculation surrounding a move only growing after a tremendous campaign so far from the 25-year-old.

The report also claims that Bruno Guimarães and Joshua Kimmich are on the list as the Manchester City manager looks to find a partner for Rodri in the middle of the park.

But a move for Luiz won’t come cheap, with reports in January claiming that Unai Emery values him at £100 million.
