Today’s game between Ajax and Groningen has had to be suspended due to absolute chaos in the stadium after disruption from fans.
See below as various accounts report on flares being thrown onto the pitch, while some fans have even tried to force their way onto the field, making it seemingly impossible for the match to continue…

This is not the kind of thing you want to see happening at a big game in a major European league, but it seems the security just couldn’t cope on this occasion.
The game will presumably have to be replayed at some point in the future, or else we could perhaps even see the points awarded to Ajax due to the disruption seeming to come from the Groningen fans.
Very unfortunate.sad to say the least
Dutch football fans seem to try hard to be hooligans……how hard is it to stop flares in grounds…the cup final was the same…stupid.
Hooligans here is laughable….
