Leeds United winger Daniel James is currently on loan at Fulham but the player could be on his way back to Elland Road this month.
According to Fulham manager Marco Silva, the 25-year-old is still adapting to his style of football and it will be interesting to see if the player decides to return to Leeds in search of regular football.
“James is still adapting to our football club, a completely different style of play. Until now we didn’t speak about this possibility [of an early return to Leeds], we signed him on loan to stay for the season with us.
“Of course now, from yesterday, we’ve opened the market, and of course many things can happen but no news about it.”
James has had a difficult time at the London club so far and he has made just 10 appearances for Fulham since joining the club on loan.
Leeds could certainly use some reinforcements midway through the season and the return of James could be a blessing in disguise for them.
Jesse Marsch will be hoping to turn things around for his side during the second half of the campaign and the Welsh international winger could be a useful squad option for the Leeds manager.
The former Manchester United player needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and if Fulham cannot provide him with the opportunities, he should look to leave the club this month.
