Leeds eyeing Spanish manager as potential Jesse Marsch replacement

Journalist Alan Nixon says Leeds United are big admirers of former Spain manager Julen Lopetegui.

The 56-year-old is a wanted man from Wolverhampton as well after the sacking of Bruno Lage last week. The Midlands club is expected to make a move for Spanish manager in the coming days.

Despite the win against Liverpool, Jesse Marsch is still under pressure after failing to win a game since August before the late goal by Crysencio Summerville last weekend at Anfield.

Leeds director of football Victor Orta is eyeing Lopetegui as potential replacement if Jesse Marsch leaves the club before the end of the season.
