Leeds set to beat Manchester United in race for PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo, according to Mirror.

Leeds United and the Gakpo have reportedly agreed personal terms and now PSV Eindhoven and the Yorkshire club are currently negotiating over the 23-year-old who would cost £30million in January.

After being eliminated by Rangers from the Champions League qualifying rounds, PSV intends to cash in during January transfer window.

Gakpo is greatly admired by Leeds manager Jesse Marsch, who wants him to team up with Colombian forward Luis Sinisterra. The adaptable PSV captain is capable of playing in four different positions, but this year he has excelled as a No. 10 after Van Gaal told him that was his best position.
