Journalist says Italian striker has agreed to join West Ham

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims striker Gianluca Scamacca has agreed to join West Ham this summer.

West Ham had a £40m fee agreed days ago and it looks like the striker wants the move as well.

The 6ft 5in striker enjoyed a fine form last season for Sassuolo, scoring 16 league goals and getting a call up by the national team.

West Ham have been in search for a striker to bring competition for Michail Antonio since January and Moyes believes Scamacca is the perfect striker for his system.
