Aston Villa are seemingly on the verge of completing a deal to sign Yannick Bolasie from Everton after Steve Bruce revealed when it could be announced.
As per BBC Sport, Villa were said to be close to wrapping up a loan swoop for the 29-year-old on Thursday, while he was spotted at their home game against Brentford in midweek.

In turn, all the signs would suggest that Bolasie is Villa Park bound, as he looks to put an injury plagued spell with Everton behind him to rediscover his best form with Bruce’s side and help them secure promotion back to the Premier League this time round.
It ended in heartbreak for Villa last season after their defeat to Fulham in the Championship playoff final at Wembley, and that was followed by several loan spells ending including the one which saw Robert Snodgrass spend last season with the club.
Replacing his quality in the wide areas is arguably crucial for Villa before the deadline next week, and it seems as though Bolasie will be the solution as Bruce confirmed in his press conference on Friday that he hopes the deal can be confirmed either today or tomorrow, as per the club’s tweet below.
Aston Villa have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign having collected eight points from their first four games as they remain unbeaten. Strengthening the squad further over the next week will certainly help build confidence in their ability to earn promotion.
