AC Milan have reportedly made a last-minute offer to bring Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to the San Siro on loan this season.
This is according to the Sun, who note that the Rossoneri have made an offer of €40M (£36M) to bring the Serbian to the club on loan for this season, and that the offer includes the possibility of buying the player permanently next summer.

The report also states that to make the move permanent, it’s expected that Milan are going to have to fork out small fortune on top of their loan fee, something that may be worth when you consider just how good the player actually is.
The Serbian international proved to be one of the most consistent and talented midfielders in Europe last season, with the player’s displays for Lazio showing that he truly is the real deal.
Milinkovic-Savic managed to bag 14 goals and eight assists in all competition last year, however this ended up not being enough for Lazio, who failed to win any silverware and narrowly missed out in Champions League qualification in Serie A.
With the transfer window set to slam shut today in Italy, it seems Milan are going to be fighting against the clock to try and get this exciting deal over the line.
Will they succeed? Only time will tell….
