Jamie Carragher has had his own troubles in recent times of his own doing, but these Man City fans felt it was necessary to hurl abuse at him after a chance meeting.
It’s been suggested that the Sky Sports pundit was on his way home after Arsenal’s clash with City at the Emirates on Sunday evening and stopped off at what looks like a service station.
However, his day didn’t pass without incident as the video below shows, as he was the subject of a torrent of abuse from a group of fans who are said to have been City supporters, as per The Sun.
Carragher was suspended last season by Sky Sports after being filmed spitting at a fan while he was driving down the motorway, and so he’ll be keen to avoid any more controversy in order to keep his job.
Nevertheless, it would probably have been difficult when faced with the abuse heard in the video, with an expletive-ridden clip showing them trying to antagonise the former Liverpool defender.
