AC Milan are reportedly preparing for a busy end to the summer transfer window with speculation linking them with two key deals involving Leonardo Bonucci and Alvaro Morata.
The Rossoneri disappointingly finished in sixth place in Serie A last season despite a significant spending spree which saw 11 new faces arrive at the club last summer.

With Gennaro Gattuso now looking to plot their way back to the Champions League in the upcoming campaign, reinforcements are arguably needed in order to help them catch their rivals for a top-four finish.
Changes could be on the way, as according to Calciomercato, a meeting was held involving Juventus officials and the agent of Leonardo Bonucci, with a view of the Italian centre-half returning to Turin just a year on from leaving to join Milan.
Importantly, it’s added in that report that Milan want Juve defender Mattia Caldara in a potential swap deal, and so it remains to be seen as to whether or not the two Italian giants can reach an agreement.
From Milan’s perspective, it’s a sensible strategy if they are to lose their captain, as Caldara, 24, has impressed to this point and could ultimately form the heart of the defence at the San Siro alongside Alessio Romagnoli for years to come, if a move goes through.
While that situation revolves around the Milan defence, the bigger issue that the club had last season was at the other end of the pitch in terms of scoring goals.
Milan scored just 56 goals in 38 league games last year, giving them the lowest tally of the top seven sides in the Italian top flight.
With that in mind, signing a striker could potentially be a priority, but whether or not Milan are able to splash out €70m on Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata is debatable, as Calciomercato report that is the valuation that the Blues have given the Spaniard.
Morata managed just 15 goals in 48 appearances last season, and so with Milan’s need for a prolific striker in mind, it’s questionable as to whether the former Juve star really is the ideal solution.
