Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko sealing a move to Spanish side Sevilla could see Arsenal be able to snag a deal for Steven N’Zonzi this summer.
According to the Daily Star, as re-reported and translated from Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla are eyeing up a move for Bakayoko as a replacement for Steven N’Zonzi this summer.

The same report from the Daily Star also notes that Sevilla eyeing up Bakayoko should mean that the Gunners will have the door open for them to make their move for the former Blackburn midfielder.
Bakayoko leaving the west London side this summer wouldn’t be a mad move for the Blues, as the Frenchman has been a big flop since his move from Monaco last summer.
The midfielder has failed to make his mark with Maurizio Sarri’s side as he failed to cement his place in the Blues’ starting line-up last season.
Arsenal target N’Zonzi has a £30M release clause in his deal as per the Sun, a price that would be a great buy for the north London side.
The Gunners haven’t had a solid defensive midfielder in their side since the days of Patrick Vieira, and so signing N’Zonzi should be somewhat of a priority for Unai Emery and co this window.
If Chelsea end up losing Bakayoko to Sevilla, they could end up doing a massive favour for Arsenal in the process, which wouldn’t be a thing Blues fans are used to seeing their club do!
