Real Madrid have already lost Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, and reports claim that Man Utd are keen to take Gareth Bale away from the Bernabeu too.
Los Blancos are facing a summer of real disruption as having announced Julen Lopetegui as Zinedine Zidane’s successor, Ronaldo’s €100m+ move to Juventus was confirmed by the Italian giants this week.

With those changes in mind, the reigning European champions will surely be eager to keep the rest of their group in tact to avoid facing too many changes in one summer which would result in real disruption, but according to the Manchester Evening News, Man Utd are still eager to snap up Bale and are said to be ‘advancing’ in talks.
That will be a concern for Madrid supporters, as if Bale was to leave, that would need a complete overhaul of their attack with the likes of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio and Isco left to step in and fill the voids.
However, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, there is still a long way to go before Bale even considers an exit as he has revealed the latest in his tweet below.
That would suggest that the outcome of discussions between the respective parties will be key, while it’s no surprise if Real Madrid have no desire to see the Welshman leave as they’ve already got a major task on their hands to replace the goals and overall influence Ronaldo had on the team.
Nevertheless, it may not be enough to put Man Utd off from continuing to pursue the former Tottenham ace, and so it remains to be seen whether or not they continue to fend off interest or consider a sale after the relevant talks, as outlined by Balague, have been held.
