Real Madrid ace ordered to leave the club as they believe £70m Manchester United transfer raid is done

It promises to be another exciting transfer deadline day

Real Madrid have reportedly told goalkeeper Keylor Navas to leave the club in the summer as they believe they’ve secured the transfer of Manchester United star David de Gea, according to Diario Gol.

BBC Sport noted that De Gea came close to joining Madrid back in 2015 only for the deal to collapse in bizarre circumstances late on, but it may now be that his move to the Bernabeu is on again.

Diario Gol claim sources inside Real believe the deal will go through, and that means goodbye to current shot-stopper Navas, who has not always convinced as the club’s number one.

Real could do with a truly world class ‘keeper to replace the legendary Iker Casillas, who left a big void at the club when he entered into decline and eventually left the Bernabeu for Porto in 2015.

David de Gea to Real Madrid transfer rumours are hotting up again

De Gea seems an ideal fit for Los Blancos in that important position, but this undoubtedly looks a huge potential blow for United.

This report comes as the Sun also claim Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is set to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge despite also being on Madrid’s radar.

Diario Gol suggest De Gea’s transfer to Madrid will cost the club around £70million, which looks decent in this market for arguably the best player in the world in his position.
