Manchester United eye €100m Andrea Belotti transfer

Manchester United are reportedly considering a transfer swoop for Torino striker Andrea Belotti to replace the ageing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Yahoo Sport.

The prolific Italy international could be a fine purchase for any top club after his prolific recent form.

Andrea Belotti is on Manchester United’s radar

Belotti, 24, burst onto the scene last season with 28 goals in 38 games in all competitions, and while he has struggled to live up to that again this term, he seemingly remains on United’s radar after showing his prowess in front of goal.

Manchester United miss out on Harry Kane and Eden Hazard

Manchester United look to have been beaten to the potential transfers of Harry Kane and Eden Hazard after links with both players at various points this season.

The Sun linked the Red Devils with an interest in a shock raid on Chelsea for Hazard, and it was also the Sun who reported of their desire to bring Kane to Old Trafford from Tottenham.

Attack is clearly an issue for Jose Mourinho’s side at the moment, but Don Balon now sensationally claim both players seem to have been wrapped up for moves to Madrid in the summer.

Arsenal given hope over Thomas Lemar

The Daily Mirror claim Arsenal may be in a decent position to sign Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar, though he had recently been linked as a target for United.

Thomas Lemar has been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool

Yahoo Sport claimed Mourinho was looking at the 22-year-old Frenchman as one of a number of targets in attack, though that story doesn’t seem to have materialised into anything more concrete.

United’s chances of signing him now do seem a little slim with the Mirror suggesting it’s a two-way battle between Arsenal and Liverpool for his signature.

Arsenal rival Manchester United for Malcom

The Daily Mail recently linked exciting Bordeaux starlet Malcom as a target for United, but it is now claimed that Arsenal have made an approach for him too.

The Brazilian has shone in Ligue 1 this term and journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed the Gunners have now been in touch about snapping him up.

He adds, however, that there are ‘many’ clubs in for him.

Arsenal also in for United target Mauro Icardi

Rounding off our Manchester United transfer news update is speculation that Arsenal are also rivalling the Reds for the signing of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.

Mauro Icardi is now on Arsenal’s transfer radar in a potential blow to Manchester United

Gianluca Di Marzio list Arsenal as among the Argentine’s suitors, though it had previously been suggested he would more likely end up at a bigger name.

Don Balon linked Icardi with United not so long ago, while Diario Gol suggested he was on the verge of joining Real Madrid after completing a medical with the Spanish giants.
