Manchester United are reportedly ready to join the transfer battle for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, who has also been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
The France international shone in Ligue 1 last season, becoming regarded as one of the top young attacking midfielders in the game as he reached double figures for goals and assists.
Lemar’s fine form helped Monaco win the title, and while he hasn’t looked quite as impressive so far this season, he continues to attract plenty of interest.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this season that Arsenal could come back in for the 22-year-old in the January transfer window, while the Telegraph have linked him with Chelsea recently.
Meanwhile, the Liverpool Echo have suggested Liverpool could be his preferred choice, but United now seem ready to throw their hat into the ring.

That’s according to Yahoo Sport, who claim Jose Mourinho is looking at Lemar as one of a number of options to strengthen his attack in what looks a necessary move.
United haven’t looked at their best lately, with Romelu Lukaku not looking like getting enough service to follow up his fine start to the campaign.
A signing like Lemar would certainly boost the Red Devils, as well as also preventing one of their rivals landing a potentially world class talent.
