Manchester United could secure a deal for Inter Milan’s Joao Mario in January with the star looking out of favour at the San Siro.
A report from the respected Italian outlet CalcioMercato has stated that a January exit for Joao Mario is looking increasingly likely with Manchester United in pole position to sign the star.
However, Inter will reportedly only be happy to accept offers in the region of €45m to free up spending money for themselves with Inter having paid the same fee for the star when they bought him from Sporting Lisbon in 2014.
The Portuguese star is still just 24-years-old and has established himself as one of the finest attacking midfielder in Europe in recent seasons.
Further good news for United stems from the same report that states it is likely to be a cash only exchange for the star despite previous reports suggesting United may have to lose a key player in a potential swap deal.
A report from TalkSport this week suggested that Jose Mourinho may have to allow Henrikh Mkhitaryan to go the other way to secure a deal for Joao Mario but it now appears that the Italian club would much rather a cash only deal for the star in order to free up their wage bill.
