Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly decided to sack Antonio Conte once the club are knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16.
The Blues will likely get a tough draw in the next phase of the competition after only finishing second in their group, and Abramovich is said to be fed up with Conte, according to Don Balon.
The Italian tactician got off to a dream start at Stamford Bridge last season, winning the title in his first year in charge and reaching the FA Cup final.
However, Chelsea lost again this weekend to West Ham, making it a worryingly high four defeats for the campaign already, and putting them 11 points behind current league leaders Manchester City.

Don Balon claim this means Abramovich has already made his mind up about getting rid of Conte and starting afresh.
The west Londoners are known for getting through their managers quickly during Abramovich’s reign, with the oligarch not known for showing much patience in that department.
Still, it’s a system that’s worked well for him, with the club one of the dominant forces in England and Europe since he took over back in 2003.
