The home side opened the scoring in the 20th minute, after a smart turn from Fernando Llorente allowed the Spaniard to slot the ball home.
Spurs then doubled their lead through South Korean Heung Min-Son, after the ball was laid off to Son, who placed the ball home to put the north London side two goals to the good.
Frenchman N’Koudou then completed the scoring 10 minutes before half time, as the winger cut in from the left before firing the ball into the net.
