Arsenal are reportedly preparing to go back in for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar in the January transfer window as the player is now increasingly open to joining the Gunners.
The France international has shown himself to be one of Europe’s most exciting young players in recent times, guiding Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and semi-finals of the Champions League last season.
And while his form has taken a bit of a dip this term, Lemar remains in Arsenal’s sights this winter as Arsene Wenger faces doubts over a number of key players.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal will launch another reduced bid for the 22-year-old, which should be considerably lower than the £90million figure being branded about when they went for him in the summer.

The Mail claim both Lemar and Monaco’s stance has changed, with the player initially reluctant to join Arsenal on such short notice, while his club feel their chance to cash in on him could soon pass.
This looks an ideal buy for Arsenal in the attacking midfield department, with both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil set to be out of contract at the end of the season.
The Daily Mirror have also been the north London giants with a move for PSG winger Julian Draxler in that position, but fans will surely be hoping both are possible.
