Chelsea had to Eden Hazard to thank tonight, as the Belgian international scored twice as the Blues came from behind to secure a draw against Roma.

Chelsea opened the scoring in 11th minute, after a failed ball from David Luiz fell kindly back to the Brazilian, who rifled his side-footed effort past Alisson in the Roma goal to give the Blues an early lead.

The home side then doubled their lead in 37th minute, after a deflected effort from Alvaro Morata saw the ball land at the feet of Eden Hazard, who hammered his half-volley home to put Antonio Conte’s side 2-0 to the good.

The away side then halved the deficit in the 40th minute, after a deflected effort from Aleksandr Kolarov beat Thibaut Courtois to give the Italians a fighting chance.

Eusebio Di Francesco’s side then found an equaliser in the 64th minute, and what a goal it was. A superb ball over the top from Fazio left Edin Dzeko one on one with Courtois, with the former Man City man unleashing a ferocious left-footed volley past the Belgian to draw the two sides level.

The away side then took the lead just six minutes later, as a free kick from Kolarov found it’s way onto the head of Dzeko, who applied to finish to put the Italian side 3-2 up.

Conte’s side then found an equaliser of their own five minutes later, after a cross from Pedro found it’s way to Hazard, who saw his header fly past Alisson to draw the Blues level.

For Chelsea, they would most likely be disappointed with this result seeing as they were 2-0 up early on in the match.

For Roma, they’ll also be disappointed with this result, as they were leading going into the last minutes of the match and would’ve loved to have beaten the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
