Bayern Munich’s withdrawal of their interest in Thomas Lemar will come as a major boost for Arsenal and Liverpool who are eyeing a move for the Monaco star. The winger was close to joining the Gunners on transfer deadline day but the move fell through as there was not enough time to finalise the deal.
According to Football London, both of the aforementioned teams have an even chance of capturing the 21-year-old’s signature with Liverpool courting Philippe Coutinho replacements with strong suggestions he may leave for Barcelona during next summer.

They also say Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has said Lemar is more likely to move after the season is over, rather than in January.
The youngster has been on many a club’s radar after grabbing twelve goals and fourteen assists for Monaco last year as his side made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League and won Ligue 1.
Monaco are holding out for at least £80m for the in-demand man.
