Bayern Munich striker Roberto Lewandowski ‘will try everything’ to push through a move to Real Madrid next summer, according to Guillem Balague.
The 29-year-old has established himself as one of Europe’s top marksman with his form in Germany over the past seven years in spells with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern.
With five Bundesliga titles to his name and a host of domestic cups, it’s been widely reported for some time that the Polish international could consider a new challenge and his dream move would be to the Spanish capital with Los Blancos.
According to Balague, as he told Sky Sports, Lewandowski will try everything to make his move to Real happen next summer, and he has already informed his agent that is where he wants to go.
However, the Sky Sports pundit adds that it won’t be as simple as that, as taking into consideration his age and a touted €80m price-tag, as noted by Balague, it makes a move to the Bernabeu difficult as it remains to be seen whether or not the reigning Spanish and European champions are willing to spend that much on him.
With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Isco and Marco Asensio already battling for places, there is also the argument that someone might have to leave first. As a result, Lewandowski may continue to pine for a move but it will take a lot of work to get a deal done to suit all parties.
