Fiorentina are interested in signing former Real Madrid winger Jese from his current side PSG, according to football-italia.
Jese, who played 16 games in La Liga for Las Palmas last season after signing on loan from Ligue 1 side PSG in January, moved to the former champions of France from Spanish champions Real Madrid last summer, however the winger struggled to make an impact for Unai Emery’s side and was subsequently loaned out to Las Palmas for the remainder of the season, as per football-italia.
Despite the winger’s market value decreasing these past few years, Serie A side Fiorentina are, as reported by football-italia, still eager to agree a loan deal with the option to buy for the Spaniard, who managed four league goals in 25 league appearances last season for both Las Palmas and PSG.
Should Jese make the move to Italy and sign for Fiorentina, it’ll be interesting to see whether the 24-year-old can fulfil the potential that PSG saw in him when they signed the winger last summer.
