Roma would prefer to sell Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool target Kostas Manolas to a foreign club, according to Calciomercato.
Manolas is widely considered one of the best defenders in Serie. His classy distribution from Roma’s back-line accompanied by his combative defensive style has seen him establish himself as a key figure in the Serie A giant’s squad since moving to Italy from Greece.
It is, perhaps, that reason that Roma appear unwilling to let him move to a fellow Serie A side. Calciomercato report that Roma are open to selling Manolas in the summer transfer window, but only if the 25-year-old moves abroad.
There appears to be no shortage of interest in the Greek international from outside Italy. Calciomercato report that Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all interested in signing Manolas, as the English trio search for defensive reinforcements. It remains to be seen how much Roma will demand in exchange for one of their prize assets.
