AC Milan are reportedly monitoring Cristian Tello and Luis Muriel as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.
The Rossoneri are currently in a race to qualify for the Europa League and with their takeover still on hold, Vincenzo Montella has largely had to work with what he inherited.
While he’ll hope that he has funds to spend in the summer, speculation has continued to link names to the Italian giants with Sport reporting that Tello is of interest to them.
Currently on loan at Fiorentina, the 25-year-old has scored three goals and provided five assists in 27 Serie A appearances so far this season, and an exit from parent club Barcelona looks likely.
However, interest from Milan is a surprise, but it’s claimed that the club are looking at alternatives to Gerard Deulofeu as he’s set to return to Everton from his loan spell at the end of the season. Having made such a positive impact so far, it’s questionable as to whether Milan will be able to keep him but they will surely try to as he has settled in well.
Elsewhere, Sampdoria forward Luis Muriel has revealed that he has offers from Milan, Juventus, Inter and Roma, as well as interest from England and Spain as it appears as though he’s a man in demand this summer.
He’s had a stellar season thus far for the Blucerchiati, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists in 28 league outings, and in turn it’s no surprise that he’s attracted interest from the top clubs around Italy and Europe.
However, it’s added by Calciomercato that he has a €28m release clause which will prove problematic, as it’s debatable as to whether he’s really worth that much.
Milan will hope that Sino-Europe Sports can eventually complete their takeover after a third postponement earlier this month, and with their arrival and fresh investment, the Rossoneri will be desperate to play a prominent role in the summer transfer market.
