Dean Marney has been an ever-present for Burnley so far this season and he finally got off the mark with a stunning goal against Manchester City on Saturday.
The 32-year-old is a key part of Sean Dyche’s side, and he picked a perfect time to break his goalscoring duck with a brilliant strike that left Claudio Bravo with no chance as he arrowed an effort into the bottom left corner.

Burnley have been a completely different side when it comes to their home form compared to how they fare on the road, and as shown against Liverpool earlier this season, they are more than prepared to take on the big clubs when they arrive at Turf Moor.
With four wins in six games at home thus far, that type of form will undoubtedly be crucial for their hopes of avoiding relegation.
Pep Guardiola made various changes to his starting line-up with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva on the bench while Ilkay Gundogan and John Stones were left out.
Coupled with a fast start to the game from the hosts, Dyche would have been delighted to see his side take the fight to their rivals and make a quick start to put the pressure firmly on Guardiola’s men.
As noted by BT Sport in the tweet below, it’s been a long time coming for Marney to find the back of the net in the Premier League as it was his first top flight goal in 2558 days.
