According to the Sun, Liverpool have signed the son of Wales international Jason Koumas.
11-year-old Lewis Koumas joins Kevin Stewart, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben Woodburn in signing deals with the Merseyside club.
Lewis’ father was a minor cult hero in the Premier League and Championship. After starting at Tranmere Rovers, the club his son has just departed, Jason went on to play for West Brom, Cardiff and Wigan. He was also a member of the Liverpool academy, but in a move that has proved to be the mirror image of his son, he left for Tranmere before signing terms with the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp will be excited by the youngsters he has at his disposal. the German manager played several of the in the EFL Cup win over Tottenham a fortnight ago, and Kevin Stewart in particular was exceptional that night. If Lewis can fulfil the potential Jason had, the Reds might have a serious player on their hands in a few years.
