Manchester United assistant manager Rui Faria has congratulated his players after they drew 0-0 with 13th place Burnley.
Jose Mourinho dodged media duties after being sent to the stands, and so Faria stepped in to speak to MUTV.

Mourinho’s number two insisted that they were not happy with the result, but that the players deserved to be congratulated for their “fight and belief”.
It may seem absurd to give praise to the United players after they failed to score in 37 attempts at goal. Faria, however, believes that they are deserving of it after giving everything to try and secure the three points.
Worthy or not, United sit in eighth place in the Premier League table and have a fight on their hands to keep the pace with their rivals. Manchester City extended their lead over their rivals to eight points after an emphatic 4-0 victory over West Brom, and they’re looking tough to catch for Mourinho’s side.
