Everton had a pretty decent weekend. The Toffees managed to hold Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad and then celebrated the birthday of two former club players David Unsworth and Graeme Sharp.
Unsworth was known as the ‘Rhino’ at Everton and rose through the youth ranks at the club before spending five years there as a player.
Sharp spent 11 seasons at Everton scoring 159 goals to set a post war goalscoring record for the club which has yet to be matched.
