The Liverpool transfer window has been busy this summer and shows no sign of slowing down.
According to a report in The Sun, Liverpool’s young Spanish forward Luis Alberto is set to complete a move to the Serie A giants Lazio. Per-the-source, the Italian side have struck a £4.9 million deal with Liverpool for the forward.
Lazio will also pay Liverpool an additional fee if they qualify for the UEFA Champions League in future seasons. The Red’s have also included a 30 per cent sell-on clause in the deal.
Alberto made just two starts for the Reds after being signed by Brendan Rodgers for £6.8 million from Sevilla. The 23-year-old did however have an impressive season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna last season. The Spain Under-21 international scored six goals in 29 La Liga matches for Deportivo lasts season.
Liverpool take on last seasons champions Leicester City in Premier League on September 12.
