Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca has is on the verge of completing his loan move to Besiktas after arriving in Istanbul, Turkey.

The 22-year-old will join the Super Lig champions on a temporary move which will include a buyout clause option a source close to the club told Emre Sarigul.

Talisca had been closely linked with a move to England prior to his move to Besiktas.

The Sun reported that Championship outfit Wolves were nearing a £20 million deal with the Brazil international following their takeover by Chinese investors Fosun while the Daily Star reported that Liverpool were also in the race.

Talisca is expected to play first team football this season who the reigning league champions who will compete in the Champions League.

The Istanbul giants are currently first in the Super Lig after winning their first game of the season 4-0 against newly promoted Alanyaspor at the recently completed Vodafone Arena stadium.
