Chelsea centre-back Kenneth Omeruo has revealed his best three defenders in the world to FourFourTwo Turkey.

The 22-year-old revealed that Blues legend John Terry is among the top three alongside Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos and Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany.

Terry has captained Chelsea to four Premier League title victories. He has made 703 appearances for the club, which puts him third on the all-time list, and a whopping 570 of those have come as skipper.

He wore the armband for the first time in December 2001 – when he was only 21 – and was handed the captaincy on a full-time basis by Claudio Ranieri, prior to the start of the 2003-04 campaign.

The 35-year-old defender was given a one-year contract extension last season and Conte has now reassured him that hi place in the team is safe.

Terry scored one goal and provided a single assist in 33 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.

Chelsea had a disappointing season finishing the league in 8th place despite going into the league campaign as reigning champions.
