Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo has become the 15th player to be loaned out after reaching an agreement with Besiktas.
The football transfer website Transfermarkt have Omeruo as being the 15th Blues player to leave the club on loan already.
Last season over 30 players were loaned out by the London based outfit and the Blues could reach a similar number this season.
The Istanbul giants have agreed with both Chelsea and Besiktas a source close to the Super Lig champions told Emre Sarigul.
The Blues will receive an estimated €700,000 loan fee and the buyout clause option will be in the region of €4 million.
The Eagles have been negotiatiing with Chelsea for over a month over the transfer according to BBC African football specialist Oluwashina Okeleji who confirmed that talks between the two clubs were ongoing to Turkish-football.
“Besiktas are in advanced talks with Chelsea but nothing has been agreed with the player,” Okeleji said.
Omeruo is no stranger to being loaned out and is familiar with living in Istanbul after spending last season at Kasimpasa.
The Nigerian international defender was one of the most highly rated young defenders in the league last season but will play at a side expected to challenge for the title and play Champions League football for the first time.
