Everton are set to sign Wales international defender Ashley Williams over the next 48 hours according to the Daily Star.
Per the source, the Toffees will shell out £10 million for the services of the Swansea defender as a replacement for John Stones who looks set to join Manchester City over the summer.
Toffees manager Ronald Koeman has made strengthening the defence a priority and Williams is being targeted as the man that can help bolster their backline.
The experienced defender is reported to have already agreed a deal with Everton and the club are expected to officially confirm the move over the next few days.
The powerful striker played an important role for Wales Euro 2016 run to the semi-finals where they lost against eventual champions Portugal.
The Welsh defender would end an eight-year associated with the club if the deal does go ahead.
Williams joined Swansea for £300,000 in 2008 under the stewardship of former Toffees boss Roberto Martinez.
