Arsenal have been linked with Besiktas’ star midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup according to the Spanish outlet Deportivo Valenciano.

The Gunners fans will be familiar with Ozyakup who joined Arsenal from the Dutch side AZ back in 2008. The talented midfielder captained the youth side and made his Arsenal debut in the League Cup.

However, Ozyakup wanted out at from Arsenal after failing to break into the first team and joined Besiktas for just £350,000 in 2012.

It seems Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may be regretting his decision seeing that Besiktas have set a €20 million price tab on Ozyakup. Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Manchester United have also been linked with Ozyakup according to the Daily Star.

Ozyakup provided eight assists and scored 10 goals for the Super Lig champions in all competitions last season and was picked for the Turkish national team side going into Euro 2016.
